Job summary

Terrain is seeking a Merchandise Assistant to support daily operations in the buying area, helping manage merchandise flow from concept to creation. You will coordinate PO tracking, sample management, and vendor communications while supporting weekly production meetings and web audits.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple systems. This is a on-site position with URBN perks and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• PO tracking – follow up on PO status and track from time of shipment to receipt at our warehouse.
• Own web and creative turnover - manage photo sample request process for web photography and creative shoots.
• Full ownership of sample management - track samples and ensure timely, organized delivery.
• Act as main contact for vendor communication and update weekly WIP with feedback and costs.
• Lead internal weekly production meetings with manager.
• Conduct weekly web audit to verify styles/colors; report issues.
• Become an expert in product assortment and provide information to the team.
• Take on ad hoc reporting/projects to support buying team.
