Job summary

Ulta Beauty in the United States is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead a high-performing store team, driving top-line sales, inventory health, and guest experience. You will guide operations from shipment to omni-channel, set priorities with the GM, and model accountability and development.

You will train and coach associates, manage scheduling, and ensure compliance with store policies while staying ahead of industry trends to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1-2+ years of fast-paced retail management or related work.
• Experience driving top-line sales and controlling expenses.
• Proven leadership in attracting, developing and motivating a team.
• Strong merchandising and guest service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals for retail and service sales and guest loyalty.
• Drive profitability through top-line sales and expense control.
• Leverage forecasts and payroll budgets to optimize scheduling for productivity.
• Review and act on financial and operational reports and audits.
• Lead through company programs and tools to improve store performance.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain attendance and enforce Ulta Beauty attendance policy.
