Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, drive top-line sales growth, and develop a high-performing team. You will oversee shipment, replenishment, omni-channel activities, pricing changes and markdowns, reporting to the Operations Manager, and ensuring adherence to policies and standards.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, coaching, and hands-on leadership to deliver guest satisfaction and store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant work experience.
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, payroll budgets, and cost control.
• Leadership: attracting, developing, and motivating top talent; leading teams through change.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals in retail and service sales, loyalty, payroll and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Schedule planning to maximize productivity within payroll budget.
• Lead and develop a diverse team; coach and provide feedback.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards.
