Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment through strategic workload planning and strong inventory control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills
• Experience with planogram execution and visual standards
• Excellent pricing accuracy and promotional execution

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and enforcing SOPs and company programs
• Ensure adherence to policies, store conditions, and results
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards
• Lead truck execution processes and ensure efficient merchandise flow to sales floor
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership
• Oversee in-stock optimization routines to drive replenishment accuracy
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and backroom organization
• Execute ad sets, price changes, and ship-from-store fulfillment
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper inventory adjustments
• Train, coach, and develop team members across departments
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and reduce shrink
