Job summary

Michaels in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, pricing, planograms, and visual standards. You will ensure timely promotions, accurate inventory and a ready store environment, while leading workload planning and coaching team members.

You will provide MOD coverage, oversee planogram and in-stock routines, and partner with store leadership to optimize staffing and execution to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience with store operations, merchandising, pricing and SOP adherence.
• Ability to train and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of company policies, store conditions and results.
• Provide manager-on-duty coverage and maintain service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unload, sort and move merchandise to sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy and sales readiness.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support backroom organization and customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy and stock movements.
• Execute promotional ad sets with compliant signage and placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment processes.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Manage shrink reduction and asset protection practices.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure staffing aligns with business needs.
