Responsibilities

• Engaging peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for our customers.
• Communicating with team members and assigning daily work tasks.
• Mentoring and coaching team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Supports training new team members and cross-training high potential talent.
• Assist with department scheduling to improve customer service, sales, and profitability.
• Ensure product freshness through proper rotation and dating policies.
• Guide team in food safety compliance and safe operations.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product display where applicable.
• Foster an inclusive Meijer culture and DEI values.
• Operate a register and handle cash when needed.
• Operate powered equipment where applicable.
