Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Handle opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• Direct supervision of hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Process store directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and stock organization.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and plan merchandising strategies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
