Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Maintaining store standards, including stockroom and sales floor organization.
9. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives related to store operations.
11. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and ensuring sales floor effectiveness.
12. Participating in planning and merchandising activities, including monthly sales planning.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
