Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.
3. Performing store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Managing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including cash, and adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Ensuring store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
8. Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
10. Managing receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
11. Assisting in freight flow management, merchandise ordering, and stockroom organization.
12. Maintaining a sales-effective sales floor and planning merchandising strategies.
13. Supporting the implementation of monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
