Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Supporting the hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting store assets, including cash, and adhering to safety policies.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
8. Assuming supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is unavailable.
9. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
10. Managing freight flow and stock organization, including merchandise receipt and return.
11. Ensuring sales floor effectiveness and planning merchandising strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
