Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Ensuring store areas meet company standards, including the stockroom and sales floor.
8. Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
10. Managing freight flow and merchandise receipt and return.
11. Ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
12. Maintaining stockroom organization and sales floor effectiveness.
13. Planning and implementing merchandising strategies and sales plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
