Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Ensuring store cleanliness and organization, including stockroom and sales floor.
9. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
11. Managing freight flow and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking.
12. Maintaining stockroom organization and ensuring sales floor effectiveness.
13. Planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales initiatives.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
