Job summary

Westat is seeking Field Interviewers to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews for the MEPS study. Training begins with mandatory January 2027 sessions, and some assignments require travel to local and long-distance households.

The role is part-time and involves evening/weekend hours with data transmission daily and strict confidentiality. MS Teams is used for interviews and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based home study training and Teams sessions by specified dates.
• Able to travel for mandatory training in January 2027 and long-distance travel as needed.
• Part-time, variable-hour role with possible overtime and weekend/evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult household members.
• Contact households, set appointments, and collect signed documents.
• Transmit data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality.
