Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews for the MEPS study, engaging households across the United States.

The role involves travel to training and data collection sites, with duties including appointment setting, interviews, and document collection. Positions are part-time, with evening and weekend hours, and require attendance at in-person and online trainings.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older with ability to enter binding confidentiality agreements to protect project information.
• Available to complete mandatory web-based home study training including required Microsoft Teams video sessions between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Be available to travel to and attend mandatory in-person training (Jan 20–25, 2027).
• Be available to complete post-training home study between January 26 and January 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult household members.
• Contact households in-person and/or by phone to introduce the study and gain cooperation.
• Set appointments, complete interviews, and collect signed documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily and adhere to data security requirements.
