Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is working with a large growing mechanical contractor in Branford, CT, seeking a hands-on field operations professional for a full-time role supporting HVAC and plumbing projects.

You will build relationships with general contractors and owners, manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and mentor engineers and field manpower while ensuring on-time material delivery and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Local candidates preferred.
• 3+ years of field experience with mechanical contractors on large commercial projects.
• 30 OSHA certifications and related qualifications preferred.
• Strong software knowledge: BlueBeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office; scheduling and estimating tools a plus.
• Knowledge of Quality Control and state HVAC/building codes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with GC’s and Owners.
• Commute to different jobsites and perform on-site visits.
• Attend preconstruction meetings and mentor project engineers and field staff.
• Manage, approve, organize, and document project scope, schedule, and budget end to end.
• Develop business with existing and prospective general contractors, owners, subcontractors and design engineers.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time material delivery and favorable pricing.
