Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC seeks a seasoned HVAC and/or Plumbing Project Manager for a full-time role with a large mechanical contractor. The position involves building relationships with general contractors and owners, visiting job sites, and guiding projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will manage the project scope, schedule, and budget, mentor junior engineers and field staff, and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and favorable pricing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC and/or Plumbing Project Management experience on large commercial projects.
• Strong software knowledge in BlueBeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and/or QuickPen/Accubid; scheduling and estimating software knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of state building HVAC and/or Plumbing codes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with GC’s and Owners.
• Ability to commute to different jobsites and complete on-site visits.
• Attend preconstruction meetings; mentor project engineers and field manpower.
• Manage, approve, organize, and document project scope, schedule, and budget from start to finish.
• Business development with existing and prospective general contractors, owners, sub-contractors and design engineers.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and best pricing.
