Job summary

TYG is seeking experienced MEP Project Managers to support large-scale data centre construction across multiple locations in the United States. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes from pre-construction through commissioning and completion, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors.

The role requires travel and temporary relocation to project sites across the US, with opportunities across multiple locations and a competitive salary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction PM experience with significant MEP experience.
• Experience managing complex mechanical and/or electrical construction projects.
• Data centre, mission-critical, hyperscale, industrial, healthcare, or large-scale commercial experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage MEP subcontractors, budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, and project teams.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination, construction, commissioning, contracts, and subcontract administration.
• Ability to interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings and identify constructability issues.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, BIM/VDC, or similar platforms is advantageous.

Salary: $160,000–$210,000 per year + performance bonus

About the Company:

We are seeking experienced MEP Project Managers to support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data centre construction projects across multiple locations in the United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MEP construction professional to join a growing data centre team and take responsibility for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes from pre-construction through commissioning and completion.

About the Role:

The MEP Project Manager will oversee the technical, commercial, administrative, and field management aspects of MEP construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, MEP subcontractors, vendors, commissioning teams, and internal project personnel.

Candidates must be willing to travel and relocate temporarily to project sites as required. Multiple positions are available across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage MEP construction activities from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.


• Lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building-system coordination, scheduling, procurement, and execution.


• Manage MEP subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

• Relevant degree and certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED are preferred.


• Must be legally authorised to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

MEP Technical Experience:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

• HVAC, chilled-water, cooling towers, and mission-critical cooling systems


• Medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution


• Switchgear, transformers, generators, and emergency power


• UPS systems and busway


• Building automation and controls


• Domestic water, sanitary, storm, specialty/process piping


• Testing, balancing, startup, and commissionins
