We are partnered with nationally recognized general contractors delivering hyperscale and enterprise data center projects across the U.S. These projects are MEP-driven, with complex electrical distribution, mechanical cooling systems, and phased commissioning requirements.

We are seeking an MEP Project Manager to lead the financial, contractual, and coordination aspects of all MEP scopes from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.

Role and Responsibilities

• Own financial performance of MEP scopes including buyout, cost tracking, forecasting, and change management
• Lead procurement of electrical and mechanical subcontractors and vendors
• Manage long-lead equipment procurement including generators, UPS systems, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, and major mechanical equipment
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, and coordination efforts tied to MEP systems
• Coordinate closely with field teams to align MEP sequencing with project schedule
• Track installation progress and identify risks impacting commissioning or turnover
• Manage MEP-related change orders, cost impacts, and schedule adjustments
• Serve as primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and commissioning agents on MEP scopes
• Support commissioning planning, turnover documentation, and system acceptance
• Maintain detailed reporting on MEP budgets, schedules, and risks

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience with strong MEP focus
• Experience managing large electrical and mechanical scopes
• Data center or mission‑critical experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and procurement processes
• Experience with fast‑track construction and phased turnover
