Senior MEP Project Manager Opportunity - Travelling (Competitive travel packages available)

Join one of the industry's leading ENR Top General Contractors on one of the most exciting mission-critical build programs in the country. We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to take a leadership role delivering a major data centre campus in Lubbock, Texas with a substantial, multi-year pipeline of follow-on data centre work opportunities.
About the Role:
As Senior MEP Project Manager, you will take ownership of mechanical and electrical construction delivery on a large-scale, mission-critical campus, leading subcontractors, vendors, consultants, clients, and internal teams to deliver safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standard. You'll play a central leadership role in project strategy, risk management, and team development, acting as a key point of accountability for MEP performance across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and take ownership of MEP construction delivery from pre-construction through closeout.
- Drive mechanical and electrical scope planning, scheduling, procurement strategy, and execution.
- Direct and manage MEP subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and key stakeholders at a senior level.
- Own project budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change order negotiations.
- Proactively identify project risks, coordination conflicts, and long-lead equipment constraints — and drive mitigation strategies.
- Oversee BIM/VDC coordination, constructability reviews, installation, startup, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality, schedule, and safety requirements.
- Chair project coordination meetings and provide mentorship, guidance, and development to junior project team members.
- Serve as a senior client-facing representative, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients and project partners.
- Support broader pursuit and pre-construction efforts as the data centre pipeline grows.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Significant MEP construction project management experience, including prior experience at Senior PM level.
- Demonstrated success leading complex mechanical and/or electrical construction projects from start to finish.
- Data centre, mission-critical, industrial, commercial, or other large-scale construction experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules, procurement, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Deep understanding of MEP coordination, construction sequencing, commissioning, contracts, and subcontract administration.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Experience with General Contractors or Electrical Contractors will be considered.
MEP Technical Experience:
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- HVAC and mission-critical cooling systems
- Medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution
- Switchgear, transformers, generators, and emergency power
- UPS systems and busway

- Plumbing and specialty piping systems
