Job summary

TYG is seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead delivery of a large-scale data centre campus, coordinating MEP construction across multiple teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The role demands strategic thinking, risk management, and a client-facing leadership presence on site in a dynamic environment.

The candidate will own schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders while ensuring safety, quality, and commissioning readiness. Significant travel within the US is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant MEP construction project management experience, including prior Senior PM level.
• Data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale construction experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules, procurement, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Deep understanding of MEP coordination, construction sequencing, commissioning, contracts, and subcontract administration.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own MEP construction delivery from pre-construction through closeout.
• Drive mechanical and electrical scope planning, scheduling, procurement strategy, and execution.
• Direct and manage MEP subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and key stakeholders at a senior level.
• Own project budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change order negotiations.
• Proactively identify project risks, coordination conflicts, and long-lead equipment constraints and drive mitigation strategies.
• Oversee BIM/VDC coordination, constructability reviews, installation, startup, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Chair project coordination meetings and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Serve as a senior client-facing representative, building trusted relationships with clients and project partners.
• Support broader pursuit and pre-construction efforts as the data centre pipeline grows.

We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to take a leadership role delivering a major data centre campus in Lubbock, Texas with a substantial, multi-year pipeline of follow-on data centre work opportunities.

About the Role:

As Senior MEP Project Manager, you will take ownership of mechanical and electrical construction delivery on a large-scale, mission-critical campus, leading subcontractors, vendors, consultants, clients, and internal teams to deliver safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standard. You'll play a central leadership role in project strategy, risk management, and team development, acting as a key point of accountability for MEP performance across the site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated success leading complex mechanical and/or electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Data centre, mission-critical, industrial, commercial, or other large-scale construction experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules, procurement, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Deep understanding of MEP coordination, construction sequencing, commissioning, contracts, and subcontract administration.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
• Experience with General Contractors or Electrical Contractors will be considered.

MEP Technical Experience:

Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
