Job summary

NV5, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee multiple projects, assemble project teams, define work scope, and manage budgets and schedules. The role includes client communications, reporting, and ensuring quality deliverables.

The successful candidate will have a background in engineering or construction management, with experience in CAD/BIM and familiarity with project controls and billing processes. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years progressive Assistant Project Manager experience or 8–10 years progressive consulting engineering experience, or an equivalent mix.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction Management from an accredited university with 8–10 years’ experience.
• Must understand design or commissioning project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee one or more smaller or intermediate sized projects, assemble teams, delegate responsibilities and develop schedules.
• Prepare contract documents and ensure adherence to the project scope and budget.
• Monitor progress, ensure quality deliverables, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Develop client communications and status reports, and attend client meetings.
