Job summary

NV5 is seeking an Assistant/Project Manager to oversee multiple small projects across fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical disciplines. You will assemble teams, develop schedules, manage budgets, ensure quality, and satisfy clients while adhering to contract terms.

Travel to worksites as needed and support proposals within scope. Responsibilities include maintaining budgets, preparing monthly status reports, coordinating client meetings, and delivering project deliverables on time

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years progressive Assistant Project Manager experience or 5-8 years progressive engineering experience
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in business administration, Engineering, Architecture or related field
• Willingness to travel to worksites as needed or required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall supervision of projects to ensure conformance to contractual agreements
• Assist in development of tasks to define project work scope, budgets and schedules
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all technical work
• Monitor project tasks to maintain budget, schedule and scope of work
• Prepare periodic status reports for clients and senior project management
• Attend client meetings and coordinate deliverables with team members
