Job summary

NV5, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee multiple smaller projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule and budget. You will manage client communications, assist in proposal development and help ensure project quality and satisfaction.

The role requires travel to worksites as needed, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within NV5's diverse engineering and consulting platform.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years progressive Assistant Project Manager experience or 5–8 years progressive engineering experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Willingness to travel to worksites as needed or required.
• General understanding of design or commissioning project requirements.
• Ability to utilize computer systems to effectively manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1–5 smaller projects; assemble team, develop schedules, ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Assist in developing tasks to define scope, budgets and schedules; monitor progress.
• Prepare proposals and coordinate resources to meet project requirements.
• Maintain project files, client communications and invoices; participate in client meetings.
