Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Louisiana is seeking a MEP Project/Field Engineer to support a large Data Center project near Alexandria. You will collaborate with project managers and superintendents to review plans, resolve field issues, and provide timely project reporting.

The role requires a construction-focused degree, proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Primavera, and Prolog, and the ability to travel up to 70 miles. Per diem travel and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in design, estimating, and/or field supervision preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Prolog.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an incident and injury free culture.
• Provide interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications for contractors and/or trade foremen, leadmen, and other supervisors.
• Review shop drawings before issuance to subcontractors and filings; collaborate to create subcontractor agreements.
