Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer - MEP to lead on multiple commercial construction projects in Sterling, VA.

You will collaborate daily with Project Managers and Project Manager Assistants to ensure teams have the information and resources needed for success. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years in a commercial construction setting, with strong communication, scheduling, and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 2+ years in commercial construction.
• Ability to apply project management techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project tracking reports to monitor productivity and labor utilization.
• Create and maintain internal project schedules.
• Prepare complete, accurate and timely submittals for construction projects based on drawings and specs.
• Track and coordinate with architect/engineer and subcontractors.
• Assist Project Manager and other Project Engineers with change requests.
• Complete required project close-out documents and distribute contract documents to subs.
