Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a MEP Professional - Data Center to support buyout processes and lead coordination and field installation of MEP systems on hyperscale data center projects.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, 3–5 years of related experience, and OSHA 30; team leadership and strong coordination with the project team are essential to deliver projects safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years related field experience.
• Experience on hyperscale data center construction projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour certified.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews MEP Scopes of Work and equipment pre-purchases for accuracy and completeness.
• Assists in the development of the MEP Construction and Commissioning Schedule.
• Enforces quality controls policies and inspections on the MEP trades.
• Interfaces with commissioning agent to ensure the commissioning process meets expectations.
• Executes the submittal and RFI review and coordination for MEP disciplines.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members.
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment.
