Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a MEP Professional - Data Center in Charlotte, NC to support buyout, coordinate MEP systems, and lead field installation on hyperscale data center projects.

You should hold a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with 3–5 years of related experience and OSHA 30 certification, demonstrating safety, teamwork, and commitment to delivering high-quality facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years related field experience.
• Previous experience on hyperscale data center construction projects is desired.
• OSHA 30 hour certification.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews MEP Scopes of Work and equipment pre-purchases for accuracy and completeness
• Assists in the development of the MEP Construction and Commissioning Schedule
• Enforces quality controls policies and inspections on the MEP trades
• Interfaces with commissioning agent to ensure the commissioning process is being executed to meet expectations
• Executes the submittal and RFI review and coordination for MEP disciplines
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment
