MEP/CX Superintendent — National Travel, Advanced Tech

Job summary

McGough is seeking MEP/CX field professionals to support a National Travel - Advanced Technology team delivering complex data center projects across the country. The role includes working at Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent level, with increasing ownership of MEP/CX scopes, planning, coordination, and commissioning.

Responsibilities span preconstruction planning, field operations, scheduling, procurement, commissioning, safety, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, construction management, or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in MEP engineering, design, facility management/operations, or construction management
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, controls, and specialty building systems
• Ability to communicate across levels and to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with MS Office suite

Responsibilities

• Support or lead MEP/CX preconstruction planning and coordination
• Review drawings, specs, and project requirements
• Develop and manage CPM schedules and milestones
• Coordinate with management, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Lead field coordination and commissioning activities as level permits
• Monitor installation progress and address schedule, safety, and quality issues
• Mentor engineers and junior staff as appropriate
