Job summary

McGough is seeking an MEP Project Engineer to support coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems across all project phases. You will work under the MEP Project Manager to assist planning, procurement, field execution, commissioning, and closeout activities.

The role requires effective communication with owners, A/E teams, subcontractors, and field staff, while maintaining safety and quality standards throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or related degree required.
• 0-3 years of experience in commercial construction or related field.
• Basic understanding of MEP and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and contract docs to understand project scope.
• Coordinate with A/E teams and subcontractors for constructability.
• Assist with design reviews, bid packages, and RFI tracking.
• Support MEP coordination during construction and commissioning.
• Verify installation progress with field observations.
• Maintain project documentation and safety practices.
• Assist with change management and closeout activities.
• Collaborate with field supervision and vendors to resolve issues.
