Atlantic Constructors Inc. is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our growing commercial construction team.

This role drives daily site operations for large ground-up or major commercial projects, coordinating with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure safety, schedules, and quality on MEP trades. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in field supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, OSHA 30/CPR, and a proven ability to manage crews, review drawings,

Qualifications

• 7+ years previous experience as a General Foreman/General Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent or equivalent
• Ability to successfully supervise large crews (10+).
• Experience with man hour reports, job cost reports, workforce planning and estimating.
• Advanced understanding of construction cost control, forecasting and goal setting.
• Effective verbal and written communication across varied disciplines.
• OSHA 30 and CPR certification.
• Ability to read, interpret and work from design drawings, design guides, specifications, contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervises field foreman for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
• Oversee a specific trade on a larger project with supervision support.
• Performs a wide range of skilled construction tasks.
• Coordinate with engineering, estimating and project teams to ensure drawings/specs and schedules are met.
• Ensure safety on site and enforce project safety program requirements.
• Review two-week look-aheads and conduct weekly foreman meetings.
• Track project progress and ensure materials are ordered and staged.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, customers and vendors.
