Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager, MEP to join the Field Operations Team on field/project work across the United States. This role supports the MEP Project Manager and coordinates on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent and at least five years of related experience, strong teamwork, and solid computer skills. Travel to project sites will be required per Gray’s policy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and a minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.
• Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development.

Responsabilités

• Study specifications to aid planning procedures for construction on the basis of start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project/Site Manager.
• Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the entire construction schedule. Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
