Job summary

Thrivent Financial seeks a Team-Based Financial Advisor to support clients with mentorship and joint field work. You’ll learn within a platform that emphasizes development while receiving coaching from Lead Advisors and training to advance toward partnership.

You will build a client book through meetings, educational events, and product recommendations, with a licensing path over the first weeks to months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Satisfactory background check and any required registrations/licensing.
• Strong communication and analytical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the operation of the practice.
• Participate in Joint Fieldwork to build expertise and best practices.
• Meet with clients to build a book of business and relationships.
• Solicit and sell appropriate products and complete applications.
• Position products and services to help clients gain financial clarity.
• Develop proficiency with advisory tools and platforms.
• Participate in events to educate the community and attract clients.
• Collaborate with Lead Advisor on complex scenarios and schedule meetings.
