Job summary

Thrivent in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Team-Based Financial Advisor to learn the business with mentorship, coaching, training, and joint field work while serving clients with heart.

You'll build a book of business, meet with clients, and advance toward joining the sponsoring team as a traditional financial advisor. Licensing, training, and ongoing growth opportunities are provided, with a salary package plus upside through commissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; military veterans encouraged to apply.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with common business tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with high accuracy under interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the operation of the practice and offerings.
• Meet with clients to build a book of business and grow relationships.
• Solicit and sell appropriate financial products and services.
• Collaborate with Lead Advisor on complex scenarios and training.
• Schedule, prepare, and document client meetings.
