Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking a Team-Based Financial Advisor for the North Central Florida Group in Tallahassee, FL, with a path to mentorship and growth under Lead Advisors. The role focuses on learning, licensing, and joint fieldwork while serving clients with guidance and support.

The position involves training through licensing programs and a 6-week program, with a base revenue package plus commission potential, and in-office work five days a week in the Tallahassee/Gainesville/Panama City

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the operation of the practice.
• Participate in Joint Fieldwork to build expertise and learn best-practices.
• Meet with new and existing clients to build a book of business and grow relationships.
• Solicit and sell appropriate products, complete applications, write recommendations, and service existing clients/contracts.
• Position products, services, and strategies to help clients gain financial clarity.
• Build proficiency in common advice tools and platforms like Salesforce, Money Guide Pro, What-If Tax, etc.
