Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching.
- Proven experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent.
- Current State Teaching Certification.
- Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn mentor certification.
- Attending all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; after-hours work will be required.
Responsibilities
- Serve on the school leadership team to shape the school's academic vision and goals.
- Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
- Provide input for county curriculum initiatives ensuring alignment with district goals.
- Attend all 10 mandated innovative teacher training sessions and professional development workshops.
- Translate district curriculum changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
- Serve as a certified mentor to guide new and developing educators.
- Offer instructional coaching, co-teaching opportunities, and peer observations.
- Model advanced instructional strategies, including technology integration and data-driven differentiation.
