Job summary

Chrysalis Health is seeking a Master’s Level Mental Health Therapist, Counselor or Social Worker to join our behavioral health team in Florida. Earn up to $85,500 per year based on experience and certifications, plus a $2,400 orientation stipend.

Most sessions are in-person with telehealth options available for flexibility. We offer licensed supervision, flexible hours, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, and 401k with employer match.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
• Must reside within the State of Florida and hold Mental Health Registered Intern Licensure.
• Ability to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs, and flexibility to provide services in client homes, schools, and other community settings.
• Ability to document therapy services in electronic medical records (EMR) platform.
• Candidate backgrounds in Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, Forensic Psychology, Community Counseling, Psychology, Youth Counseling, Human Development, Behavioral Science, Art Therapy, or Psychiatric Rehabilitation may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess and determine the comprehensive mental health needs of clients with a range of ages and diagnoses.
• Document client screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and referral information.
• Deliver services to clients in the community; there is no requirement to go to an office.
• Utilize evidenced-based practices to enhance clinical outcomes of clients.
• Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, school counselors and other health care professionals to ensure optimal client care.
• Advocate for patient access to community resources.
• Communicate treatment plans and progress to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate and offer individual and family therapy on psycho-social issues such as coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support.
• Demonstrate professionalism to reassure patients of their care by a skilled and compassionate professional.
