Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with healthcare/psychiatric experience
• Independent licensure in state practicing (LPC/LMFT/LCSW or equivalent)
• Two years of healthcare and two years in psychiatric settings preferred
• Substance use credentialing (SAC/SAC-IT/CSAC) as applicable in Wisconsin
• Strong documentation and compliance with ethical standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Assess patients' needs and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers.
• Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation.
• Provide counseling and support using evidence-based techniques.
• Educate patients about conditions, self-care, and aftercare options.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to Joint Commission and state regulations.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and participate in in-services.
