Job summary

The Lindner Center of Hope is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will perform delegated duties, monitor patient status, and document in the EMR as part of the treatment team.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting measurements, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment on the unit. This position is PRN/part-time with varied shifts and requires a high school diploma or GED and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of direct patient care experience or enrolled in a related nursing/psychology program.
• CPR certification to be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision and aligned with treatment plans.
• Obtain clinical measurements, vital signs, height/weight, intake/outtake, EKG strips.
• Document in EMR, complete shift summaries, and report changes to the RN.
• Support patient activities of daily living and safety, and assist with seclusion/restraint as needed.
• Participate in emergency actions and quality improvement activities.
