The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Western Massachusetts VA Healthcare System, Leeds, MA, is seeking a Program Specialist in the Mental Health service for a full-time, 40-hour work week.

The role provides administrative oversight across MHICM, TSES, CWT/TR, MST, TCM, SP, inpatient and PTSD programs within the Leeds VAMC and affiliated clinics. Responsibilities include scheduling, data validation, reporting, quality assurance, and overseeing timely Mental Health consults.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Assist management with decisions on appropriate clinic set up.
• Review clinic functions, e.g. overbooking of patients, scheduling new patients, and resolving consults.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving delivery of care.
• Prepare recurring and nonrecurring reports, complies and analyzes data.
• Coordinate quality assurance/utilization review activities within the clinic.
• Maintain timecards for clinical and administrative personnel.
• Oversee all Mental Health consults and monitors for timeliness.
