Job summary

ACCESS Community seeks a Health Operations Manager to supervise daily operations for mental health and substance use services. The role leads teams, assigns cases, and acts as a technical advisor while coordinating with external funders and internal departments.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a relevant field, is fully licensed, with 5+ years in mental health and 2+ years in supervision, and has grant-writing experience to help sustain programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.
• Fully Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or PhD with licensure per state requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years in a mental health setting with management experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity in a clinical setting.
• Grant writing experience preferred; can help secure funding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, monitor and manage the work of others.
• Review performance and evaluate results achieved by subordinates.
• Coach and mentor subordinates and document discussions regularly.
• Ensure compliance with agency quality assurance plan and funding guidelines.
• Develop treatment curriculum and supervise group therapy sessions as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and coordinate with fiscal and IT departments.
