The role oversees day-to-day operations, supports performance improvement, and coordinates with CMHA leadership and external partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and patient-centered service delivery across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in healthcare or social services.
• Ability to plan, budget, and report on enterprise-wide operations.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and IT project implementation.
• Strong process improvement and lean/six sigma knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders and funders.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation in operations, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional coordination to streamline workflows and processes.
• Evaluate and recommend cost-effective EHR and IT solutions.
• Implement standardized processes to improve client service efficiency.
• Supervise and develop staff across departments.
• Review procedures using six sigma and lean methods.
• Conduct audits to measure objectives and develop corrective actions.
• Allocate people and time to priorities to improve productivity.
• Ensure documentation of incidents and reporting to state/federal agencies.
• Oversee performance improvement efforts including clinical record reviews and outcome measurement.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement timely solutions.
• Represent CMHA at community functions and required meetings.
• Use KPIs and outcome measures to enhance performance.
