World Shipping, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a dedicated Terminal Manager to lead our trucking operations and coordinate between owner-operators and customers.

You will build relationships, drive safety culture, manage P&L, and oversee fleet, operations, and customer service. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record in intermodal logistics.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 5 years intermodal transportation management experience.
• 3 years managing an owner-operator based fleet.
• Outstanding service performance, leadership, customer satisfaction and owner-operator recruiting skills are a must.
• High degree of integrity and initiative; excellent communication and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Fleet Manager, Customer Service and Operations team members located in the terminal.
• Work closely with recruiting and driver experience teams on IC acquisition and retention strategies.
• Develop new business and grow opportunities with current customer base through key account relationships.
• Coach and facilitate excellent communication and teamwork among Customer Service, fleet and operations management.
• Maintain safety culture and oversee safety inspections and compliance.
• Oversee facility maintenance and safety inspections related to terminal operations.
• Manage P&L with focus on GP, NOI, and NII metrics.
• Lead with servant leadership and mentoring to develop teams.
• Ensure Electronic Log and HOS compliance and efficient problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
