Job summary

Lhshealth is seeking an RN Unit Manager for the Memory Care Unit in Parma, Ohio. The role oversees clinical, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring high-quality resident care and effective coordination with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include supervising RNs/LPNs/CNAs, assessing residents, maintaining documentation, and guiding care planning while upholding regulatory standards and resident rights.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• BSN preferred for advancement and leadership.
• Working knowledge of state, federal, and CMS long-term care regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care on the unit according to care plans and policies.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Conduct resident assessments and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and care planning.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, transfers, and care conferences.
• Manage unit staffing with nursing leadership.
