Ohio Living is seeking an experienced Unit Manager - RN to supervise the day-to-day activities of a Nursing Department unit in a life plan community in Monroe, OH. You will ensure care plans are followed, monitor care quality, and lead staffing and training efforts to maintain high standards of resident care.

The role requires an Ohio RN license, a nursing degree, and supervisory experience in healthcare. Strong communication, budgeting, and EMR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college/university required.
• Current unencumbered RN license for Ohio to practice as RN required.
• One year supervisory experience in a hospital/long-term care or related health care facility required.
• Three years experience as a nurse in a hospital/long-term care facility or related health care facility.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office and the Internet required.
• EMR proficiency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day activities of a designated unit or area of the Nursing Department.
• Ensure care plans are used in administering daily care and that staff are aware of the care plan/documentation.
• Monitor nursing services and medication passes to ensure orders are followed.
• Manage budget lines and staffing to stay within current budget.
• Coordinate resident/patient care with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Interact with residents/patients and families to maintain quality care and positive relations.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating policies and procedures in compliance with regulations.
