Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college, university or vocational school.
• Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as an RN.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the internet.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day nursing unit operations to ensure adherence to care plans and regulatory requirements.
• Supervises nursing staff, conducts performance evaluations, and supports staff development.
• Coordinates resident/patient care with other departments to ensure continuity of care and service delivery.
• Maintains strong resident/patient and family relations through effective communication and responsiveness.
• Ensures quality, compliance, and risk management by updating policies and monitoring QA results.
• Manages administrative tasks, reporting, and reimbursement processes on the unit.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
