Arrow Senior Living in Freeburg, IL is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner to provide compassionate care for residents from 7:00am to 7:00pm in a full-time capacity. The role emphasizes empathy, detailed documentation, and teamwork with other caregivers.

You will engage residents, support daily activities, and help prepare dining and living spaces. A high school diploma and English communication are required; benefits are included.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Basic computer skills for printing and entering resident information.
• Active while standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Advocate empathy by creating human connections with residents.
• Act as a patient observer to understand resident interests and abilities.
• Create and implement engagement plans with patience.
• Set the stage for daily routines through mise en scène in dining and rooms.
• Partner with residents to support daily life from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist orientation of team members in memory care neighborhoods.
