Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC seeks a Vice President of Memory Care to guide enterprise-wide strategy, standards, and resident experience across the portfolio. This role leads dementia-care education, quality measures, and performance, partnering with Operations, Health & Wellness, Culinary, Sales, Human Resources, and community leaders to ensure consistent, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in senior living, dementia care, healthcare or related resident-service field.
• 5+ years multi-site or corporate leadership in Memory Care programs/operations.
• Advanced knowledge of dementia care and person-centered practices.
• CDP certification or ability to obtain; CADDCT or similar preferred.
• Experience building enterprise Memory Care standards, training, and quality measures.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, survey readiness, and risk management.
• Data-driven approach using operational, quality, resident, workforce and financial data.
• Proven ability to lead through growth, openings, acquisitions, and change.
• Experience in education, leadership development, and competency validation for memory care teams.
• Proven success developing senior and community leaders, and cross-functional influence.
• Strong budgeting and resource planning skills.
• Representative ability to engage residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders.
• Technology proficiency and ability to use company data/reporting tools.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with vehicle policy.
• Ability to meet state-specific training and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into scalable Memory Care operating standards across the portfolio.
• Establish resident-centered standards promoting dignity, independence, safety and engagement.
• Develop education, training programs, competency validation, and quality measures.
• Partner with Operations, Health & Wellness, Resident Experience, Culinary, Sales, HR and leadership.
• Provide strategic oversight for new community development and pre-opening readiness.
• Lead regulatory readiness, survey response, and corrective action for Memory Care operations.
