The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to care plans, and compassionate communication with residents and families. Training and ongoing support are available within a nationwide network of communities.

Qualifications

• Dementia care knowledge, including Alzheimer\'s type understanding.
• Clear communication skills in English for resident interaction.
• Ability to work effectively within a care team and follow guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide dementia care following a person-centered service plan and promote independence.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
• Maintain accurate resident records and report changes in health or behavior to supervisors.
• Assist with medication administration where state regulations permit and follow medication procedures.
