Job summary

Avamere Living is seeking a Server for memory care, assisted living, and independent living facilities. This part-time/on-call role requires weekend availability and involves taking orders, serving meals, and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.

The position offers wage between $17.45 and $22.77 per hour DOE, with a perfect attendance bonus for full-time and additional bonus for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
• Interpersonal skills to relate with residents and staff.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Food Handlers card issued by local Health Dept.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly and courteously delivering food and beverages to residents.
• Providing attentive and friendly service and addressing requests.
• Setting up dining room before meals and maintaining cleanliness.
• Clearing tables and resetting them for next service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Knowing the menu and dietary needs and answering questions.
• Interacting with residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Following food safety procedures and sanitation practices.
• Collaborating with staff to ensure smooth meal service.
• Dispose of food and waste per policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
