Job summary

National Church Residences in Columbus, OH is seeking a Resident Assistant for Memory Care to join our team on the full-time night shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am). You will provide direct care to residents, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment within the memory care unit.

You will also support nurses with tasks, document in the electronic medical record, and participate in restorative programs to promote residents’ independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Two to four years preferred.
• Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with mobility, bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and assist with restorative nursing activities.
• Record vitals and notes, assist with new admissions, and document in EMR.
