Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Resident Assistant for Memory Care on the overnight shift (7p–7a). This non-exempt, full-time role reports to the Charge Nurse in the Senior Living division.

The position focuses on direct resident care, assistance with activities of daily living, and upholding patient rights and safety policies. The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED (preferred) and 2–4 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs/assists with resident direct care needs and daily living activities.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and living areas; assists with mobility and transfers.
• Assists with medication-related tasks as directed by nursing staff and reports changes.
• Records vitals, documents in the EMR, and assists with admissions and discharge tasks.
• Adheres to Resident Rights, HIPAA, safety policies, and infection control procedures.
